Transportation | Storage

• All our cakes are to be transported on a flat surface, in the boot of your car or the passenger foot well. DO NOT transport your cake on the seat of the car. Make sure the heating is turned off and the sunlight is not directly on the cake.
• In warmer months make sure the air conditioning is turned on while transporting your cake. Before you collect your cake make sure your air conditioning has been running and has cooled the car temperature.
• Hold the cake by the base of the box only, do not hold the cake box against your body.
• Once collected your cake must be stored in the fridge, only remove from the fridge when you are ready to transport it to your venue.
• Your cake MUST be cold from the fridge before you transport it. DO NOT transport your cake if it has been left out at room temperature for any amount of time.
• Alternatively take your cake straight to the venue after collection. DO NO keep the cake in the car for a prolonged amount of time.
• Please make sure to drive very carefully, we are not longer responsible for the cake once it has left our premises.
• Make sure the cake is out of the fridge for at least an hour (weather dependent) and bought to room temperature for the best eating experience.
• Once the cake has been cut wrap tightly in cling film and store in an air tight container in the fridge. Make sure the cake is bought back down to room temperature before eating.
